At Correct Body Mechanics, a remedial massage therapy, we believe that touch is a vital component of well-being. Open with 12 years of experience in massage of many types we aim to provide a sanctuary where individuals can rejuvenate their bodies and minds through the power of touch. Our experienced massage therapist is dedicated to offering remedial and relaxation services catered to each client’s unique needs. With a keen focus on the relationship between mind, body and soul the belief that touch can promote relaxation and restore balance, Correct Body Mechanics offers a profound and sensory experience, inviting you to embrace the calming effects of nurturing touch.

Remedial Massage / Functional Cupping

This is a hands-on therapy that focuses on the systematic assessment and treatment of muscles, tendons, ligaments, and connective tissues to assist in rehabilitation, pain management, and injury recovery. It aims to reduce or eliminate pain, restore normal function, and improve mobility and flexibility.

Functional cupping is a targeted therapy that combines traditional cupping with movement to improve mobility, reduce muscle tension, and support faster recovery.

Meet Cherine Moon

Cherine offers remedial massage therapy at Biotune Yanchep, supporting active athletes to every day movers feel and move better. She has a strong interest in sports and pregnancy care and is the Owner of Correct Body Mechanics. Growing up involved in sport, Cherine experienced her share of injuries and found hands-on care helpful through massage and physiotherapy. That experience inspired her
to study and support others with similar concerns. She initially planned to continue her studies toward physiotherapy, but her work with athletes strengthened her interest in hands-on therapy and ongoing learning.
Professional Background
Cherine graduated from the Australian College of Massage and Myotherapy (ACMM) with a Diploma of Remedial Massage Therapy specialising in Sports. She is a member of Massage & Myotherapy Australia (MMA). Through her work with athletes, including football and basketball players, Cherine developed a strong interest in anatomy, injury, and the role of regular hands-on care in supporting people to continue doing what they love. As the owner of Correct Body Mechanics, she continues to undertake professional development and further study as her practice grows.
Cherine is a registered Health Fund Provider. Eligible clients may be able to access health fund rebates where Remedial Massage is included in their policy.
Approach to Care
Cherine values listening to each person’s goals and building trust and rapport, with care tailored to the individual. “My passion is to help people get restored back to comfortable
movement.” Where appropriate, she may incorporate hands-on techniques as part of her approach.
Outside the Clinic
Outside of work, Cherine is a cyclist who enjoys endurance training. Each March, she participates in the Hawaiian Ride for Youth, a 703 km ride from Albany to Perth over 4.5 days, raising funds for youth suicide prevention and mental health initiatives.
